For my advertising research class, my group and I conducted secondary research to gather in-depth information on Trader Joe's. I was in charge writing the consumer analysis that describes the current target market and the college target market. I used many different online resources, such as Demographics Now, to gain insight into the various consumers. I also read through the entire report and compiled all of the necessary information to summarize our overall findings. In my Advertising Strategy class, my group and I created a plans book for Wingstop. I was in charge of researching Wingstop's current and potential consumer base. I used qualtrics to create and distribute a survey to the Gainesville community to acquire quantitative research. In addition, I conducted an in-depth interview to gain qualitative insights into Gainesville consumers. When I completed the required research, I wrote the consumer analysis with the help of my teammate. Additionally, I wrote a sales promotion strategy to further promote the brand. This qualitative art-based research paper investigates love and breakups and how these two affect an individual’s self-concept and identity. This research employs journal entries, poetry, monologues, photos, song lyrics, and academic sources to portray a first-hand experience of a romantic breakup. The autoethnographic account presented here explores my own personal journey through the highs and lows of enduring a breakup and rediscovering my own sense of identity. The overarching goal of this research is to provide a sincere and honest account of a romantic breakup so that it may resonate with a larger audience who has experienced love and heartbreak.
